We’re tried and true, and spam protected!

InkNoire (formerly known as Black Ink) is a fabulous Canadian literary blog that was founded back in the spring of 2005. The blog is run by two of the coolest bloggers in Canada: Aaron and myself, Maranda. InkNoire features current literary news and events, and as of October 2006, we post book reviews, and interviews with members of the North American literary community.

We try to post at least once a week; but ladies and gentlemen, we have a life outside of the Internet so bear with us. If you’d like to keep up-to-date with our blog postings, you can always subscribe to our feed through a free reader (see Free RSS Readers on the top left). If you already have a GMail account then you can subscribe through Google Reader.


THE BLOGGERS

When Aaron isn’t busy writing poetry or reviewing books for InkNoire, he publishes and posts on several other blogs, including The Genealogy of Taste. He has an M.A. in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Windsor and is based in Toronto.

I was born and I’m currently based in Montreal. I graduated with a B.A. in English Literature from Concordia University and have been firmly planted in La Belle Province for the last 16 years. I’ve just finished writing a non-fiction book, and when I’m not freelancing or publishing and updating InkNoire, I’m busy working at my day job.

    Okay, I am going to do this again, sans typos, so you can delete the last one.
    I much prefer the name Inknoire. Very distinctive, very Montreal. It reminds me also of the French Caribbean, and there is something old (as in 19th century) as well as modern (as in tech-savvy) in the title. Keep it up you’re doing great stuff. Both international as well as local, in other words; timeless, and of this time. Best wishes,
